Initial Sales Launch Sold $25 Million In Whistler’s First quarter-Share Project

The project consisted of luxury fully furnished townhomes in Whistler BC developed by Park Georgia Group that were to be sold on a quarter-share basis. The quarter-share interest concept was new to Whistler and required significant purchaser education as part of the sales and marketing program. Sales were done utilizing a priority reservation system where purchasers registered with a cash deposit to have the opportunity to be the first to purchase. The marketing program incorporated a show home in Whistler, a presentation center in Bellevue, Washington, a weekend presentation at a major theater in Vancouver and Discovery Kits with a video and finishing samples. In the initial sales launch over $25 Million of quarter-shares were sold at prices ranging from $180,000 to $250,000 per quarter.

Most Successful Resort Launch In Colorado That Year

Developed by SolVista, Inc and Ironwood Builders, this project consisted of 8 lodges with 15 homes each at the SolVista Golf and Ski Ranch located 1.5 hours outside of Denver. The homes ranged from 1 to 2 bedroom with loft suites. The project had added significance in that it was the first new project at this resort in 15 years and sold at prices 2 to 3 times existing prices.


PREDATOR RIDGE

Kicked Off Sales Program For New Resort Community And Positioned For Future

This was a new golf resort near Vernon, BC developed by Predator Ridge Land Company. The project involved the sales and marketing of detached homes, cottages, and lots. The sales launch was coordinated to coincide with the PGA Skins Game being hosted at the course and prospective purchasers were drawn from the western U.S. and Calgary markets. We were also required to “sell the dream” as many of the resort amenities had not yet been built. Sales set new price points for the area and established the resort as a desirable location for future purchasers.

Most Successful Pre-Sale Launch At The Resort Setting Record Prices

Developed by Mike Delich along with gold medal Olympian Karrin Lee-Gartner and husband Max Gartner at the Fernie Alpine Resort in Fernie, BC The project consisted of 61 suites ranging from studio to 2 bedroom in a 4 story ski-in, ski-out location. This was the premier condominium residence on the mountain and required not only the marketing of the project, but the resort as well as Fernie Alpine Resort was more of a boutique resort that was just beginning to gain notoriety. Sales set records for both prices and pace of sales for the resort.
